Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: August 28, 2026
Tech World Tax respects the privacy of visitors, prospective clients, and tax-preparation clients. This policy explains how information may be collected and used through the Tech World Tax public website and related tax-service workflows.
1. Information collected through this website
The public contact form is designed for general inquiries. It may collect your name, email address, inquiry type, and message. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, bank or card information, passwords, or tax-document images through the public contact form.
2. Tax-preparation information
If you become a tax-preparation client, additional personal and financial information may be required to prepare or support your return. This can include taxpayer identification information, income documents, dependent information, deduction and credit documentation, and other records relevant to your filing. Sensitive tax documents should be provided through the designated client portal or another specifically approved secure method.
3. How information is used
Information may be used to respond to inquiries, provide requested tax-preparation or support services, maintain client records, communicate about a filing or service request, prevent abuse of website forms, and meet applicable legal, professional, recordkeeping, or tax-administration obligations.
4. Sharing and service providers
Tech World Tax does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers when reasonably necessary to operate website, email, client-portal, tax-preparation, filing, payment, hosting, or security functions, or when disclosure is required or permitted by law. Service providers may process information under their own terms and privacy practices.
5. Website security
The public site uses HTTPS. Access to client tax information should be limited to authorized workflows and systems. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, so sensitive tax documents should not be sent through ordinary email or the general contact form unless specifically instructed.
6. Cookies and local browser activity
The public site's Tax 101 bracket estimator calculates results in the visitor's browser and does not intentionally transmit or store the entered estimator values on the Tech World Tax server. The site may use technically necessary browser or server features for operation, security, and performance.
7. Record retention
Tax-preparation records and related information may be retained for periods required or reasonably appropriate for legal, tax, professional, security, accounting, dispute-resolution, and service-continuity purposes. A deletion request does not require deletion of records that must be retained or that Tech World Tax has a lawful reason to keep.
8. Your requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting info@techworldtax.com. Reasonable identity verification may be required before fulfilling a request.
9. Children's privacy
The public website and tax-preparation services are not directed to children for independent use. Information about dependents may be processed when supplied by an authorized parent, guardian, or taxpayer for legitimate tax-preparation purposes.
10. External websites
The Resource Center links to government and other external websites. Their privacy and security practices are controlled by those external organizations, not Tech World Tax.
11. Policy updates
This policy may be updated as services, technology, or legal requirements change. The current effective date will be displayed on this page.
